In 1870, Maurice Hennessy created Hennessy X.O for his circle of family and friends, thus introducing a new style of cognac. Darker and much more complex than the VSOP, the ‘extra-old’ cognac astounds with flavours of candied fruit, spicy distinct pepper, oak notes interlaced with vanilla and rich dark chocolate.
